Privacy Policy
Effective October 3, 2026. This policy explains what WhereToWatchGames.com collects and why.
1. Who we are
WhereToWatchGames.com (“we,” “us”) operates a sports listings website. We do not require a public account to browse. Questions about this policy go to [email protected] or the Contact page.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Information you send us. If you email a correction, partnership note, or privacy request, we receive the address, message, and any files you attach.
- Automatic technical data. Our servers and content network may log IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. This is ordinary website operation and abuse prevention.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics (property G-JW5HBNYJM1) to see aggregate traffic: pages viewed, approximate location derived by Google, device category, and similar measurements.
- Preferences stored on your device. Theme choice, time-zone preference, and saved games, teams, or leagues live in localStorage and, for time zone, first-party cookies (
wtwg_tzandwtwg_tz_pref). We do not sync those favorites to a user account. - Admin-only data. If someone signs in to the private admin area, we store session cookies and login-related security logs. That area is not part of the public product.
We do not ask the public for payment card numbers, government IDs, or passwords.
3. How we use information
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site and its listings.
- Remember display preferences such as time zone and theme.
- Measure which pages are used and fix broken ones.
- Respond to email you send us.
- Detect fraud, scraping that harms the service, and other abuse.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our providers use cookies, local storage, and pixels. Strictly necessary items include time-zone cookies so start times match your selection after a reload. Analytics cookies come from Google. Affiliate and advertising partners may set their own cookies after you click a Watch, subscribe, or ticket link and leave our Site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking preference cookies may reset time zone or theme. Google provides an opt-out for Analytics through browser controls and Google’s own tools.
5. Affiliates and outbound clicks
Watch buttons and sponsored streaming pills may send you to FuboTV, DAZN, Prime Video, Fanatiz, ticket sellers, or other partners. Those companies, and networks such as Impact, Awin, and Amazon Associates, may collect that you arrived from this Site and whether you subscribe or purchase. Their privacy policies apply to that activity. We receive conversion or commission reports, not your payment details.
6. Who we share information with
We share information with:
- Service providers that host the Site, serve files, send email we receive, or run analytics (including Google).
- Affiliate networks when you click a partner link.
- Authorities if the law requires it or to protect the Site and other people.
- A buyer or successor if the Site is transferred, in which case this policy will still apply until you are notified otherwise.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We also do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in the sense of running our own ad network. Clicking an affiliate link can still allow that partner to advertise to you under their own rules.
7. Retention
Server and analytics logs are kept only as long as needed for operations, security, and measurement, then deleted or aggregated. Email you send is kept as long as needed to handle the request and our records. Browser storage stays until you clear it. Admin sessions expire.
8. International visitors
The Site is operated from the United States. If you visit from another country, your information may be processed in the United States, where privacy law may differ from the law where you live. Google and other processors may also handle data in other countries.
9. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
10. Your choices and rights
You can clear cookies and local storage, use a browser that blocks third-party cookies, or stop using the Site. Depending on where you live (including the EEA, UK, and certain U.S. states), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal information we hold, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to appeal a denial. Submit requests to [email protected]. We may need to verify the request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
If we cannot identify you in our systems (for example, you only browsed and never emailed us), we may have little or no personal record to produce beyond what your browser still stores locally.
11. Do Not Track
The Site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals. You can still use the cookie and analytics controls above.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
